H & M comes to Singapore

Hi tourists,

Have you been shopping recently? As you know, Singapore is a shopping heaven and we’ve recently had H&M added to our list of shopping hotspots.

Ever since H&M officially opened its doors at Orchard Building early this month, the snaking queue has been growing longer everyday.

Fans of the Swedish high street fashion label will be immensely delighted with the wide range of H&M merchandise displayed throughout 3 entire floors.

Tourists who are here in Singapore for a shopping fix should not miss out on a visit here as it is the only H&M outlet in South East Asia.

Directions: Take the MRT to Somerset station and walk to Orchard Building.

Have loads of fun shopping,
KusuLife,

Holland Village, Singapore

Hi, Singapore tourists,

For tourists on a shoestring budget, especially backpackers, Holland Village is a great FREE spot to visit and spend an afternoon or night at. It is located in the laid-back western area of Singapore, away from the city’s lights and noise.

Holland Village in Singapore is a favourite hangout for expatriates.

A cool nightspot and alternative to Clarke Quay, along Lorong Mambong, there’s a myriad of live music joints like popular homegrown bar Wala Wala, posh restaurants and various wine places and cafes.

It is also where you can find an eclectic mix of arts and crafts.

Opposite Holland Village Shopping Centre, there is Chip Bee gardens, an area full of happening Italian restaurants, psychedelic apparel shops, and art galleries. Sick of local food? European tourists, especially the Italians, will love this oasis where they can get their pizza and pasta fixes.

Visit Holland Village for some bohemian chic today!

Suntec City Singapore

Hey tourists,

What is the favourite hobby of Singaporeans, other than eating? It is.. SHOPPING! Singapore is famous for being a shopping paradise, and many tourists come from all around the world to Singapore for their annual shopping fix, especially in the middle of the year when the Great Singapore Sale is on.

One of the best shopping malls for tourists is Suntec City Mall, because of its very convenient location in the city area, its huge floor space and its world famous Fountain of Wealth. The Fountain of Wealth holds the world record for the largest fountain in the entire world.

The Fountain of Wealth, surrounded by the five towering blocks of Suntec City. has many symbolic meanings. Other than being a grand tourist attraction, it is also good for feng shui.

The 5 Suntec City towers represent the fingers and thumb of a left hand, with the location of the fountain being its palm. In feng shui, water represents life and wealth and the inflow of the fountain represents wealth pouring into the palm of Singapore.

On some days, the fountain is turned off and tourists are invited to take a walk around the Fountain three times while touching the water for good luck.

Events at the Fountain

  • Fountain Opening Hours: 9am-10pm
  • Laser Showtimes: 8pm, 8.30pm, 9pm
  • Touch Water Sessions: 9am-12pm, 2pm-6pm, 7pm-7.50pm, 9.30pm-10pm
  • Song Dedication: Mon-Thu 7pm-9.30pm, Fri- Sum, Eve of PH and PH, 8pm-9.30pm
  • Laser Message Dedication:, Fri-Syn, Eve of PH and PH: 8pm-9.30pm
