Selamat Hari Raya Puasa ( Happy Hari Raya Puasa)!
Congratulations to all my Muslim friends for breaking fast! Now it’s time to enjoy the festive celebrations!
In Singapore, Muslims typically break fast with three dates, following the lead of the Prophet Mohammed. This is called the Iftar. After that, it is time for the Maghrib prayer which is the forth of five prayers Muslims say every day.
Then of course, its time for FOOD!
Muslims will typically buy and stock up for food at bazaars before in preparation for breaking fast.
Of course they will also buy goodies and clothes and are often decked out to the nines during the most important time of the year for our Muslim friends.
Have YOU done your shopping yet? If not, maybe its time to hit the shops!
