Singapore MRT Map

The most convenient form of public transport in Singapore is the subway/metro. The locals refer to it as the MRT (Mass Rapid Transport). The average cost for a one-way ride on the MRT is $2.00 and the average waiting time for a train is 3 minutes.

There is a full day pass available for tourists, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you intend to be moving from place to place many times a day (more than 5 places).
